Berlin’s Olympic Stadium, refurbished in 2003/04 for the 2006 World Cup, was originally built for the 1936 Olympic Games.

Getting there
The best way to get to the Olympic Stadium is by public transport. There is an underground station (served by the U2 line) and a metro (S-Bahn) station (served by the S5 and S75) on the edge of the stadium complex. To make sure you get there in plenty of time for kick-off, we’ve compiled directions from a number of city centre locations and railway stations:
