About a year ago, I was helping an MP organise a trip to Germany to take a look at safe standing. While looking for a suitable hotel for him, I came across a Premier Inn. I hadn't realised until then that this UK hotel brand was now also operating in Germany. It transpires that, in fact, Premier Inn opened their first German hotel in Frankfurt in 2016 and now have over 50 around the country.
Many of the Premier Inn hotels in Germany are in Euro 2024 host cities or in other locations from which host cities can be easily reached by train. And while all hotel prices go up with increased demand, I've been pleasantly surprised by some of their prices.
So, if you like the idea of staying at a UK hotel where things are all pretty familiar, the list below of Premier Inn hotels in Germany relevant to Euro 2024 is worth checking out:
